I joined Sue's House in 2001 when I retired from a teaching career spent mainly at the King's School, Macclesfield and at Cranbrook College, Ilford, where I was headmaster for 25 years. At first I helped with administrative work at Sue's House and have gradually become more involved in the charity.
With a strong medical background and over 20 years of experience as a trained counsellor and psychotherapist , Suhaila has been providing counselling at Sue's house for over 7years. She provides support and advice to patients, carer, families in a professional, confident, empathatic and non-judgemental way. Suhaila has worked with various organisations such as Macmillan and is trained in a range of approaches to psychology.
