Ilford Cancer and Holistic Help Centre
has been providing a safety-net of mutual self-help and practical and emotional support for those involved in the cancer experience - patients, ex-patients, family and friends since 1984.
Like all cancer support groups, we came into being to help people to help themselves. With medical back-up and experienced staff, we provide support through counselling, healing, relaxation, diet and supporting therapy work. We aim to help patients understand and take responsibility for their own health.
Everything we do is complementary to the treatment given by patients own doctors or hospitals. The Centre serves Ilford, Barking and Dagenham and surrounding areas. Staff give their services free of charge and all expenses are met through donations and fundraising.
